Paula Wakefield

Paula Wakefield is a dedicated therapeutic support worker and child and youth worker with extensive experience in providing high-quality care, education, and therapeutic services tailored to the individual needs of young people. Currently self-employed as a therapeutic support worker at Adelong Evolve since July 2018, Paula guides young individuals towards self-regulation through experiential learning and development of social skills, addressing various challenges including trauma and mental health issues. Additionally, Paula has been involved in pastoral support within educational settings for Torbay Council since 2001, focusing on improving attendance and supporting the well-being of students, and has managed Play Torbay since February 2011. With a solid educational background including 5 GCSEs from Brixham College, Paula combines practical experience with a commitment to fostering positive outcomes for children and young people.
