Florian Wittl

Florian Wittl is a Staff Software Engineer at Torc Robotics since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer in Autonomous Driving Simulation at Daimler Truck AG, focusing on software architecture for SAE Level 4 autonomous driving simulations from February 2022 to February 2023. From April 2017 to February 2022, Florian served as an Embedded Software Engineer at ASM Assembly Systems, improving multi-core architecture performance and developing SIL/HIL simulations while launching machine learning applications for outlier detection and predictive maintenance. Earlier experience includes an internship at ZF Group in 2010. Florian holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich, with studies completed in 2017 and 2014, respectively. Education culminated with a Higher Education Entrance Qualification (A-levels) in Mathematics and Physics from Rainer-Maria-Rilke-Gymnasium.
