Sebastian Dingler

Sebastian Dingler is a Senior Engineering Manager at Torc Robotics since January 2023, focusing on autonomous trucks development at SAE Level 4. Previously, Sebastian served as an Engineering Manager and Product Owner at Daimler Truck AG within the Autonomous Technology Group, contributing to projects involving automated driving system architecture and filing over 20 patent applications. With extensive experience in autonomous driving system engineering, including research on localization integrity and lidar odometry, Sebastian has supervised numerous interns and participated in significant projects across various roles at Daimler AG and BMW Group. Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has experience studying at prominent institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University and UCL.
