Troy Purvis, CPA, CA, CIA, is currently the Director of Internal Audit and Compliance at Toronto Hydro. In this role, Troy oversees the strategic leadership of Internal Audit, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, and Corporate Compliance programs. Troy has extensive experience in internal audit, having previously worked at Maple Leaf Foods Inc and Walmart in various roles. Troy also has a background in external audit from their time at PwC. Troy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Chartered Accountant.
