Lars Laugen has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Lars started their career in 2007 as a Second Lieutenant in the Engineer Battalion of the Norwegian Armed Forces, where they were responsible for planning and executing exercises, managing platoon material, and teaching military skills. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Intern at Astrup Fearnley AS, primarily focusing on LNG projects and spending time in Tokyo, Japan. From 2013 to 2019, Lars worked as a Consultant at DNV GL, specializing in shipping advisory services and helping ship owners reduce fuel-related costs. In 2019, they became a Project Director at Yxney Maritime, where they played a crucial role in delivering and further developing the software Maress for energy efficiency and emission monitoring. Currently, Lars is working at Torvald Klaveness as the Head of Digitalization, overseeing digitalization projects and managing the digitalization of fleet operations.
Lars Laugen started their education journey in 2006 by attending Officer Candidate School, where they focused on studying Engineer Battalion.
