Director, Outbound Marketing And Events at Toshiba America Business Solutions

Salley Thornton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Salley started their career at Wolfe Community Newspapers as a reporter and was later promoted to Assistant Managing Editor. Salley then worked at WOKR TV-13 as an Assignment Editor, where they managed news story selection and assigned reporters and photographers. Salley also gained experience in broadcasting at Infinity Broadcasting, where they served as a Morning Show Producer, booking guests and producing radio commercials. Salley continued their marketing and communications career at the American Red Cross as a Marketing Communications Associate. At Toshiba Business, Salley held several roles, including Marketing Manager, Vice President of Marketing Communications, and Director of Outbound Marketing and Events. In their roles at Toshiba, they developed and implemented integrated marketing strategies and supported field sales representatives. Most recently, Salley worked at Roc Publishing as a Publisher, overseeing a bi-monthly magazine targeted at parents, grandparents, childcare providers, and women.

Salley Thornton completed an Executive MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Communications from the University of Mount Union, which they attended from 1985 to 1989. In addition, Salley Thornton obtained a certification as a PrintReleaf Certified Professional in 2017.
