Edward Hrinya

Edward Hrinya has extensive experience in community development and workforce training, currently serving as the Employer Relations Manager at Total Action for Progress (TAP) since December 2016. In this role, Edward oversees the $1.3 million CareerForge job training program, collaborates with various educational and employment organizations, and monitors program outcomes. Edward previously worked in roles such as Fatherhood Development Specialist and Support Counselor, emphasizing life skills and job readiness for diverse populations. Earlier experience includes management at Mac and Bob's Restaurant, teaching ESL at Blue Ridge Literacy, grant writing at The Advancement Foundation, and providing system support at Roanoke College. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Philosophy from Roanoke College and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Salem High School.
