Shannon E. Murdoch

Shannon E. Murdoch has over a decade of professional experience in the fields of content development, video production, and health and fitness. Shannon E. began their career in 2008 as a Senior Health and Fitness Specialist at MediFit Corporate Services, where they spearheaded the employee outreach program and conducted monthly Lunch and Learn seminars. Later that year, they joined the University of North Texas as a UNT Professional Leadership Program Alumni Board Member, UNT Professional Leadership Program Mentee, and Student Money Management Mentor. In 2011, they became a Senior Dog Trainer at PetSmart, where they led the highest-earning dog training program in the region. In 2013, they joined Total Seminars as a Design Specialist and assisted with editing of Amazon best-selling IT training and certification books. In 2017, they were promoted to Director of Content Development and then to Director of Video Production, where they were responsible for providing direction and leadership for production and post-production including the content and creative functions. Shannon E. was also accountable for establishing long-term goals and objectives, leading projects, partner relations, evaluating and continually improving workflow processes, and training and developing the team of editors, videographers, and instructional designers. In 2019, they were promoted to Video Production Manager.

Shannon E. Murdoch graduated from the University of North Texas in 2009 with a degree in Health Promotion, with a focus on Health Education, Kinesiology, and Corporate & Community Wellness. In 2021, Murdoch obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, Instructional Design: Needs Analysis and Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID.
