Gary Tait MSc CEng CMarEng MIMarEST is a seasoned subsea engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Subsea Systems at TotalEnergies since September 2024. With extensive experience in various roles, including Senior Subsea Wells Engineer at Energean and Senior Subsea Wellhead Specialist at Repsol, Gary has a strong background in overseeing the engineering design and execution of subsea systems and wellhead technologies. Previous positions include responsibilities as a Site Representative for Xmas Tree systems at Lundin Energy, SPS Construction & Installation Manager at INPEX, and various leadership roles at Total and Fairfield Energy. Gary holds a Master's Degree in Subsea Engineering from Robert Gordon University and has consistently demonstrated expertise in managing subsea production systems across multiple deepwater and shallow water projects worldwide.
