Jonathan Kress

Jonathan Kress has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Jonathan started their career as an intern at FS Elliott in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Design Engineer at Versa Products, Inc, where they compiled a product database and built prototypes. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Regional PV Designer at SolarCity, designing residential photovoltaic systems and utilizing design analysis tools. Jonathan then transitioned to the role of Senior PV Design Engineer at SolarCity, acting as a Project Engineer for a 8.9 MW project and supporting the operations team. In 2017, they joined Tesla as a Commercial PV Designer, where they designed PV and Energy Storage integrated systems with Tesla Powerpacks and Inverters. Jonathan also worked at SunPower Corporation as a Project Engineer from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Jonathan works at TotalEnergies as a Principal Energy Storage Engineer, continuing their work from SunPower's Commercial & Industrial business unit.
