Lyn Peterson

Lyn Peterson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Lyn started their career at Dr Leonard Cotts, MD & Dr Martin L. Throne, MD as a LPN Head Nurse, where they gained proficiency in performing various medical procedures. Lyn then worked at Kaiser Permanente as a LPN and LPN Team Leader in Internal Medicine and OB/GYN. Lyn joined CorrectHealth as a LPN, Health Service Coordinator, where they were responsible for the clinical, financial, and administrative needs of the facility. Lyn also worked at Health Fitness Corporation as a LPN Health Fitness Screener, performing biometric screenings and health advising. Additionally, Lyn has experience in providing immunization and biometric screening services at Maxim Healthcare Solutions, Summit Health & Wellness, LLC, Hooper Holmes, TotalWellness, and Vaccinations On The Go, Inc. Lyn has a strong background in performing vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, and delivering health coaching results.

Lyn Peterson obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Mercer University, from 1975 to 1977. In 1980 to 1981, they attended Dekalb Community College where they obtained a Licensed Practical Nurse degree in Nursing. Additionally, in 1978 to 1979, they earned an Associate's degree in Secretarial Science from Augusta State University's College of Business Administration.

In 2013, Lyn Peterson obtained certifications as an ACLS/BLS Healthcare provider from the American Heart Association and as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp.
