Lorena Ontiveros, MBA, SPHR has over 19 years of experience in human resources management. Lorena has held various leadership positions, including roles as Human Resources Director, Regional Employee Relations Director, and HR Systems and Payroll Director at Touchstone Communities. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at Pedernales Electric Cooperative and The Home Depot. In 2014, they also owned and operated Kona Ice Spring Branch/Boerne. Throughout their career, Lorena has demonstrated expertise in employee relations, HRIS implementation, policy development, recruitment, performance management, and compliance reporting.

Lorena Ontiveros has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Information Systems/Marketing Management from Our Lady of the Lake University, earned in 1999. Lorena then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Ashford University in 2011. Lorena has also obtained several HR certifications including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in 2021 and the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in 2015.
