Sofia Hansson

Sofia Hansson currently serves as Chair of the Australia Chapter for the European Travel Commission since March 2021. Since March 2009, Sofia has held various roles at Tourism Ireland, advancing from Golf & Sports Tourism Executive to Regional Manager for Australia & New Zealand, incorporating responsibilities such as Senior Advertising Executive and Brand Partnership Executive. Prior experience includes serving as Operations & Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant at Irish Cycling Safaris from May 2005 to March 2009. Sofia holds a 1st Class Honours BA in Tourism Management from Technological University Dublin, completed between 2004 and 2007, and attended Alleskolan in Hallsberg, Sweden from 1998 to 2001.
