Maricel Aboy

Maricel Aboy is the current Head of Finance at Tourwriter, and has been in the accounting industry for over two years. Maricel first started as an accountant at ITO Accounting from October 2016 to October 2018 before taking on their current role. At ITO Accounting, Maricel was responsible for Accounts Processing and end of month Accounting work for allocated clients, maintaining communications between ITO Accounting Limited and clients, and developing a procedure for handling clients' accounting needs.

In their current role at Tourwriter, Maricel is the sole charge of the company's accounting functions including financial reporting, financial policies and procedures, GST reporting, payroll and staff files manager, liaising with external accountants for company annual reports, and liaising with government agencies on various company transactions. In addition to their finance responsibilities, Maricel also provides support for other operation functions such as office administration and HR support. Under their leadership, the company has seen a marked improvement in its financial reporting and compliance with government regulations.
