Amy Dongxue You

Amy Dongxue You have a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Amy Dongxue began their career as a Research Assistant at The Auckland Bioengineering Institute in 2010, followed by a Teaching Assistant position at The University of Auckland in 2011. Amy Dongxue then moved on to Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, where they worked as an Assistant Product Development Engineer from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, Amy joined Suncorp New Zealand as an Actuarial Support Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Pricing Analyst from 2015 to 2017. Amy Dongxue then joined IAG as a Senior Analyst in 2017 and was promoted to Principal Analyst Pricing in 2019, a role they held until 2020.

Currently, Amy is working at Tower Insurance, where they started as a Senior Pricing Manager from February 2020 to December 2021. Amy Dongxue is currently serving as the Head of Pricing.

Amy Dongxue You completed their education at The University of Auckland from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) & Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree, with their studies focused on Engineering Science, Accounting, and Commercial Law. In 2016, Amy attended Macquarie University for a non-award study programme in Actuarial Studies.

In terms of additional certifications, Amy obtained the title of Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary from the Actuaries Institute Australia in July 2019. Amy Dongxue also achieved the status of Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia in December 2018.
