Oleg Martynov

Director, Silicon Photonics Technology Development at TowerJazz

Oleg Martynov has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2008 as a Research Assistant at Oakland University, they conducted computational investigations in the physics department. In 2007, they worked as a Research Associate at Rigaku Innovative Technologies, Inc, where they assisted in the development of X-ray optics and performed surface analysis using various metrology tools. From 2009 to 2016, Martynov worked at the University of California, Riverside, first as a Teaching Assistant and then as a Graduate Student Researcher. There, they focused on graphene cantilever fabrication, chemical vapor deposition synthesis, and high yield production of carbon nanoscrolls. In 2016, they held the position of Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California, Riverside. Since 2017, they have been working at Tower Semiconductor, initially as a Senior Process Development Engineer and advancing to roles such as Process Development Engineer Expert and Silicon Photonics Process Development Manager. Currently, Martynov holds the position of Director of Silicon Photonics Technology Development at Tower Semiconductor.

Oleg Martynov's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Oakland University. Oleg completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics in 2008. Oleg then pursued further studies at the University of California, Riverside, where they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from 2009 to 2011. Oleg continued their education at the same institution and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from 2011 to 2016.
