Matthew Tesarfreund

Matthew Tesarfreund has extensive work experience in various industries, including healthcare, private equity, finance, and strategy. Matthew is currently a Vice President at Town Hall Ventures, where they began working in July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Strategy & Finance Lead (Director Level) at Headway from November 2021 to July 2022.

Before their time at Town Hall Ventures and Headway, Matthew worked at Bain & Company, where they held the positions of Manager (Healthcare practice) from August 2020 to October 2021 and Consultant (Healthcare practice) from July 2018 to August 2020.

Earlier in their career, Matthew was a Private Equity Associate (Healthcare) at Friedman Fleischer & Lowe from August 2014 to July 2016. Matthew also gained valuable experience as an Adolescent Health Center Strategy and Operations Extern at Mount Sinai Health System from February 2014 to July 2014.

Before pursuing their career in consulting and finance, Matthew worked at Goldman Sachs as a Summer Analyst - Pharmaceuticals Equity Research in June 2010. Matthew also served as a Summer Fellow at Cedars-Sinai's Gene Therapeutics Research Institute from 2006 to 2009.

In 2009-2010, they also participated in the Visiting Student Program at the University of Oxford, focusing on Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
