Alvaro S. Esparza

Alvaro S. Esparza is currently serving as the Assistant Town Planner for the Town of Ashland, MA, since February 2023. Previously, Alvaro worked as a Data and Evaluation Specialist and Site Coordinator for Recreation Worcester at the City of Worcester from October 2021 to February 2023. Alvaro has also held roles as a Graduate Fellow and Student Ambassador at Clark University from January 2019 to June 2022, alongside experience as a Research Assistant in the Clark University Geography department. Prior experience includes positions as Workforce Coordinator and Property Manager Assistant, and Administrative Assistant at the Main South Community Development Corporation from May 2018 to July 2020. Alvaro S. Esparza holds a Master's degree in Community Development and Planning, obtained from Clark University in June 2022, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Geography with a focus on Geographic Information Science and Cartography, received in 2021.
