Caitlin Starr, MPH, CDE, currently serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Community Relations for the Town of Brookline, having joined in October 2016 after a role as Community Relations Specialist. Prior experience includes serving as a Transition Advocate at the Boston Center for Independent Living from July 2015 to October 2016, where assistance was provided to individuals with disabilities transitioning from institutional settings to independent living. Previous positions include Assistant Coordinator of Residential Living at Perkins School for the Blind, where communication among various stakeholders was managed, and roles in service learning and program assistance at the Boston Center for Independent Living and Brookline Department of Health, respectively. Caitlin holds a Master of Public Health in Urban Public Health from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Boston University.
