Kristy Baidy

Kristy Baidy is an experienced professional in water and wastewater management, currently serving as the Manager of Water & Wastewater for the Town of East Gwillimbury since June 2021. Prior to this role, Kristy held various positions at York Region, including Program Manager for Water Efficiency and Billing, Policy, Research and Initiatives Advisor, and Project Coordinator for Water Quality. Kristy also worked as a Water Efficiency and Conservation Technologist at York Region and as a Research Analyst for Water Efficiency at the City of Toronto. Earlier in their career, Kristy contributed to community initiatives with Engineers Without Borders Canada. Kristy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which was obtained between 2001 and 2006.
