Jose M.

Jose M. is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within municipal government. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology for the Town of Flower Mound since July 2023, Jose M. previously held the position of Information Security Officer for the City of Irving from September 2021 to July 2023. Prior experience includes founding the inaugural IT Department as Director of Information Technology for the City of Celina from July 2018 to September 2021, where Jose M. strategically aligned technology with the city's goals. Earlier career roles encompass IT Manager and Support Systems Analyst at Austin Lane Technologies, Inc., as well as system administration at the University of North Texas at Dallas and IT support at the University of North Texas. Jose M. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Texas, obtained in 2009.
