Travis Farley has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Travis is currently the President of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Director of Community Services - Recreation & Parks at the Town of Natick. Travis also held positions at the Town of Norwood, where they were the Superintendent of Recreation and later the Program Director. Travis gained experience as the Assistant Superintendent at the Town of Marblehead and as the Assistant Athletic Business Manager at Boston University. Travis also worked as the Athletics and Recreation Operations Manager at Fitchburg State University. Travis started their career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Program Coordinator and later as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. Travis also served as a Sports Administration Intern at MIT. Travis began their career as a Graduate Assistant for Men's Basketball at Springfield College.

Travis Farley holds a Master's degree in Sports Management from Springfield College, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Plymouth State University, graduating in 2004 after completing four years of study.
