Daniel Burton

Daniel Burton has a diverse work experience in various roles within the municipal government. Daniel started their career in 2005 as a Project Administration Technologist, coordinating water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Daniel then became a Facilities Capital Project Supervisor, managing City Facility infrastructure projects. In 2010, they were promoted to Manager of Facility Planning & Development, overseeing the capital program for facility asset management. From 2013 to 2016, Daniel served as the Manager of Transit, responsible for the operations of Barrie Transit and the implementation of various projects. Currently, they are the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Culture for the Town of New Tecumseth.

Daniel Burton attended Cambrian College from 1997 to 2000. After completing their studies there, they enrolled at George Brown College from 2000 to 2002. The specific degree or field of study is not provided for either institution.
