Vasudha Gadhiraju

Vasudha Gadhiraju has a diverse work experience in various planning and technology roles. Vasudha began their career at the City of Decatur, where they held positions such as GIS Planner, GIS/Neighborhood Planner, and Environmental Planner/Economic Development Coordinator. In these roles, they managed energy-related projects, implemented sustainability plans, and used GIS for data analysis.

Vasudha then moved on to the McLean County Regional Planning Commission, where they served as the Executive Director. In this position, they oversaw the agency's community planning, transportation planning, and education and outreach efforts.

Currently, Gadhiraju is the Director of Innovation and Technology for the Town of Normal, IL.

Additionally, they have served as a board member for the American Planning Association - Illinois Chapter.

Vasudha Gadhiraju holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, which was obtained from Iowa State University between 2004 and 2006.
