Laura Brown has extensive experience in records management and information services, currently serving as the Manager of Records and Information Services for the Town of Oakville since November 2013. Previous roles within the Town of Oakville include Corporate Records and Freedom of Information Coordinator, and Records and Freedom of Information Officer. Laura began their career in the Town of Oakville in various capacities, such as Box Office Assistant, Museum Clerk, and Cafeteria Operator from January 1996 to January 2002. Prior to that, Laura worked as a Records Documentation and Freedom of Information Assistant for the Corporation of the Town of Oakville from January 2002 to November 2013. Educational qualifications include a degree in Records Management Fundamentals from the University of Toronto and a degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Constellation College of Hospitality.
