Dr. Ruben Quesada

Dr. Ruben Quesada has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of law enforcement and education. Dr. Ruben is currently serving as the Chief of Police for the Town of Swampscott. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructor for the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee. Dr. Ruben also served as the Deputy Chief of Police at Northern Essex Community College until 2022.

Dr. Quesada has a strong academic background, having worked as an Adjunct Professor at Benedictine University's Department of Criminal Justice. Dr. Ruben designed and delivered in-person courses, mentored students, and presented their dissertation at a conference.

In their previous role at the Mesa Police Department, Dr. Quesada worked as a Commander in the Office of the Chief and later as a Commander for the Central Patrol District.
