Natalie Martin Goode has a long and diverse work experience in the field of urban planning. Natalie began their career as a Planning Officer at the Town of Cambridge in 2000, where they worked for two years. Natalie then moved on to the City of Swan, where they held the position of Senior Planner from 2002 to 2005. Following this, they joined the City of Subiaco as the Manager of Planning Services, a role they held for five years until 2010. Natalie then took on the position of Manager of Statutory Planning at the City of Fremantle, where they worked for six years from 2010 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Director of Development Services at the City of Kalamunda. Currently, Natalie holds the position of Chief Community Planner at the Town of Victoria Park, where they have been working since 2018.

Natalie Martin Goode has a diverse education history. Natalie obtained a postgraduate diploma in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Curtin University in 2002. Additionally, they completed a Certificate IV in Frontline Management at the Australian Institute of Management in 2008. Natalie also pursued a field of study in Project Management at the same institute in 2007. Furthermore, Natalie Martin Goode holds a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Economics from The University of Western Australia, which they completed in 1998.

Continuing their educational journey, they participated in the Executive Leadership Development Program at the Australian Institute of Management in 2020. In 2021, Natalie Martin Goode further enhanced their skillset by undertaking Coaching Pathways at the Australian Institute of Professional Coaches.

Looking ahead, they plan to expand their knowledge in the area of company governance and strategy by pursuing Foundations of Directorship at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with an anticipated completion date in 2023.
