Ken Brown

Ken Brown has extensive experience in municipal government and law enforcement. Currently serving in the Municipal Government for the Town of Westerly, Rhode Island since October 2023, Ken previously held positions at the University of Rhode Island from November 2017 to October 2023, working as UPO III and UPO II. Ken's law enforcement career began in September 1995 with the Town of Westerly Police Department, progressing from Patrolman to Corporal and finally to Detective until June 2016. As a Detective, Ken focused on complex criminal investigations, while as a Corporal, assumed leadership roles within the patrol division. Educational background includes studies at Northeastern University.
