Julius Syvanen

Julius Syvanen has a diverse work experience in data engineering and architecture. Julius started their career as a Research Assistant at UC San Diego in 2009. Julius then moved on to Rocket Fuel Inc. where they served as an Associate Reporting Analyst before transitioning to roles as a Data Engineer and Senior Data Engineer in the Data Services department. Julius joined Quiqup in 2016 and held positions as a Senior Data Engineer, Lead Data Engineer, and Head of Data Engineering/Infrastructure Team Lead. Currently, they work at Toyota Connected Europe as a Tech Lead for Data Engineering and a Principal Architect for Connected Data. Their responsibilities include overseeing data initiatives and leading teams in data engineering and architecture.

Julius Syvanen pursued their education in the field of Philosophy, completing a Bachelor's degree from UC San Diego between 2008 and 2010. Later, they enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to further enhance their knowledge, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Philosophy from 2011 to 2012.
