Steve Cherry

Steve Cherry has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve started their career in 1992 as an Electronics/Aircraft Engineer at BAE Systems and later worked as a Systems Designer at Raytheon UK from 1996 to 2000. In 2000, they joined TheStreet as a Java Developer for a brief period before moving on to lastminute.com. At lastminute.com, they held various roles including Solutions Architect, Data Integration Manager, and Senior Manager - Solution Architecture from 2000 to 2011.

Afterwards, Steve joined Ticketmaster in 2011 as the Director of Insight, Data Services and later became the Vice President of Engineering from 2016 to 2020. Steve'smost recent work experience is with Toyota Connected Europe, where they served as the Head of Software Engineering from December 2020 to May 2021, and currently holds the role of Head of Software and Data Engineering since June 2021.

Steve Cherry attended The Open University from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors (BSc Hons) degree and a Diploma in Computing. Steve'sfield of study was Computing. In addition to their formal education, Steve obtained several certifications throughout their career, including TOGAF 9.1 from The Open Group in July 2013, Prince2 Practitioner from APM Group in March 2007, and ITIL - Service Management from itSMF UK in April 2006.
