Konstantinos Papalias

Konstantinos Papalias has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Konstantinos started their career as a Web Developer at IdeArt in 2006 and worked there until 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Interactive Web Developer at specialmoves. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at FactSet Research Systems, first in Research Management Solutions and then in Mutual Funds and Fixed Income Content. Konstantinos then joined Qatarlyst Limited in 2011 as a Java/Scala Developer and worked there until 2013. In 2013, they became a Technical Team Lead at Algomi Ltd and held this position until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Lead Platform Engineer at William Hill. Konstantinos then joined Hive | Centrica Hive Limited in 2017 as a Big Data Engineer on a contract basis and worked there until 2020. Currently, they are working as a Data Engineer and Consultant at Toyota Connected Europe.

Konstantinos Papalias completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2000 and 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton, which they completed between 2007 and 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Konstantinos Papalias obtained a certification in Principles of Reactive Programming, with a distinction, from Coursera in January 2014.
