Michelle Gomez

Michelle Gomez has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Michelle currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Toyota Material Handling Northern California, where they focus on shaping people strategies that promote employee well-being. Prior to this, Michelle worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at California State University, East Bay - Continuing Education, where they taught in the HR Certificate Program. Michelle also has a background as a Leadership Coach & Consultant at The Gomez Group. Michelle's experience in the corporate sector includes roles such as the Director of HR Business Partner at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, and various positions at AT&T, including AVP Employee Engagement, Training and Labor Partnership, AVP Small Market Solutions, AVP Management Support Tools, and Executive Director of Customer Experience & Client Support. Before joining AT&T, they held leadership positions at SBC Communications, including Executive Director of Project Management, Regional Vice President of Consumer Call Centers, and Director of Recruiting and Training.

Michelle Gomez has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Marketing from California State University - East Bay. Michelle also has a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Holy Names University.

In addition to their degrees, Michelle Gomez has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Michelle is a Strengthscope Practitioner, certified by Strengthscope® in June 2018. Michelle also holds an Executive Human Resources Certificate from California State University - East Bay, obtained in May 2017. In July 2003, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from AT&T. Furthermore, Michelle is a certified DISC practitioner, accredited by Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand in January 1998. Lastly, they are also a Certified Integral Coach, having completed the program at New Ventures West in May 1995.
