Daniel Kruse

Daniel Kruse is a Senior Research Scientist at Toyota Research Institute since January 2022, with previous experience as a Senior Software Engineer at SRI International from February 2017 to December 2021, where Daniel designed and developed software solutions for various robotic manipulation tasks. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where contributions included advanced controller design for dual-arm robots, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. Earlier roles included engineering positions at Dolby Laboratories and Alstom Power, focusing on system performance improvements and automated quality assurance systems.
