Karen Livescu is a Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) since February 2008, having also held titles such as Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Research Assistant Professor during that tenure. Currently, Karen serves as a Special Faculty Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University and a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. Prior experience includes a position as a Post-doctoral lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 1997 to January 2008 and roles such as Summer Workshop Team Leader at Johns Hopkins University and intern at IBM and AT&T. Karen's educational background includes a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Princeton University.
