Stephen Beckett

Stephen Beckett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in web accessibility and development. Currently serving as a Senior Accessibility Engineer at The Paciello Group since April 2020, Stephen has previously held roles as a Web Accessibility Specialist at AccessEquals and a Web Accessibility Auditor/Compliance Assurance Officer at the Health & Social Care Information Centre. Stephen’s expertise includes conducting comprehensive accessibility evaluations and producing detailed reports, as well as developing compliance processes for WCAG 2. Additionally, Stephen has a background as a Web Developer at RNIB, where focus was on creating standards-compliant websites. With degrees in Computer Science, Pure Mathematics, and Fine Art from institutions such as the University of KwaZulu-Natal and Chelsea College of Art and Design, Stephen combines technical proficiency with a creative approach to problem-solving.
