Carl Ellis has a diverse and extensive work experience in supply chain operations and purchasing management. Carl is currently serving as the Director of Supply Chain Operations at TPI Composites, Inc. Carl previously held the position of Senior Director of Manufacturing at Our Next Energy, Inc. and Director of Purchasing at Bollinger Motors. Prior to that, they worked at Mahindra NATC as the Director of Purchasing, where they successfully launched and ramped up production of the ROXOR off-road vehicle. Carl also served as the Purchasing Director at Faraday Future, Inc. and Tesla Motors Ltd., where they played key roles in managing supply chains and leading purchasing teams. Carl started their career as a Project Buyer at McLaren Group Ltd. and as a Sourcing Specialist at Group Lotus plc. Throughout their career, Carl has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully implemented efficient purchasing processes, and led highly efficient teams.

Carl Ellis has a varied education history. In 1984, they studied Engineering Metalwork, Further English Studies, Math, and Physics at Wymondham College for a year. Then, in 1984-1985, they pursued a Certificate in Institute of Purchasing and Supplies at City College Norwich. In 2000, Carl took a Training Course at XR Associates Ltd., focusing on Contract Law, Art of Negotiation, and Purchasing for Success. Continuing their professional development, they attended a 4-day residential course on Advanced Negotiation Skills at Scotwork Negotiating Skills in 2005. Later that year, they completed a course in IOSH Managing Safety at W.S Training Ltd. In 2006, they undertook a Training Course at CHSS Ltd. to gain a Nebosh - National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Finally, in 2019, they participated in a course on Effective Negotiation for 2 days at Karrass.
