Brian Botelho, CDE-PAM, has over 20 years of experience in the field of privileged access management (PAM) and identity and access management (IAM). Brian has held various roles in different companies, including Principal Engineer at Trace3 since 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Principal PAM Architect at iC Consult, where they defined goals and objectives for Delinea/CyberArk implementations and provided architectural and design support. Prior to that, Botelho was a PAM Architect at Trace3, where they developed strategic PAM solutions using CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and Thycotic's technologies. Brian has also worked as an IAM Technical Consultant and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Privileged Identity Management (PAM) at HM Health Solutions and as a Senior Security Consultant, specializing in Lieberman RED IM/CyberArk, at Optiv Inc. In addition, they served as a Project Delivery Manager at Visa, overseeing the implementation of IAM products and solutions, and as a Systems Engineering Manager at School Apparel, managing IT staff and operations. Botelho started their career as a Systems Engineer and Network Administrator at Peterson Holding Company, where they managed server infrastructure and support. Overall, their experience spans a wide range of PAM and IAM technologies, and they have a strong background in design, implementation, and management of privileged access solutions.

Brian Botelho, CDE-PAM, has undergone several educational experiences and certifications throughout their career. In 1996, they received a Novell CNE certification from the Computer Training Academy. From 1984 to 1986, they attended a Community College, although the specific studies are not mentioned. In 2008, they completed a VmWare Infrastructure 3: Install and Configure program at Access Flow, followed by a NetApp Data ONTAP Fundamentals course at Unitek.

In recent years, Brian has pursued various certifications related to cybersecurity and data management. In 2014, they obtained the Certified ERPM Professional certification from Lieberman Software. Brian further enhanced their expertise by completing training on Oracle Identity Governance 11g R2 Essentials in 2014 and Oracle Identity Governance 11g R2 Develop Identity Provisioning in 2016. Brian also completed training on Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) versions 4.83.9 and 5.4.0 offered by Lieberman Software in 2014 and 2016, respectively.

More recently, Brian focused on expanding their knowledge in Privileged Access Management (PAM) technology. Brian obtained the CyberArk Certified Sentry certification from CyberArk in 2021, followed by the Thycotic Secret Server Certified Admin certification from Thycotic in 2023. Additionally, Brian received several other certifications, including BeyondTrust Password Safe BCIE and BeyondTrust Password Safe Admin from BeyondTrust, CDE-CPC from CyberArk, Delinea Privilege Manager from Delinea, and Thycotic Secret Server Certified Administrator from Thycotic, all achieved in 2023.
