Prasad Akella

Prasad Akella has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Prasad is currently working as a Sr. Product Manager at TraceLink since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Product Manager, Revenue Systems at Spiceworks Ziff Davis from March 2022 to September 2022, and a Data Product Manager at the same company from June 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Spiceworks Ziff Davis, Prasad worked at Adroitent as a Project Manager from April 2018 to May 2020, and as a Sr. Business Analyst from February 2015 to April 2018. Prasad also had experience at Pluralsoft Inc. as a Data Interface Analyst from May 2012 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Prasad worked at GE Healthcare as an Implementation Specialist from August 2010 to May 2012. Prasad also held positions at KONY Labs as a Tech Support Lead from January 2010 to July 2010, at MedPlexus India Pvt. Ltd as a Sr. Product Support Engineer from June 2007 to December 2009, and at Knoah Solutions as a Sr. Voice Support Officer / Escalations from January 2006 to June 2007. Overall, Prasad has a strong background in product management, project management, and data analysis.

Prasad Akella completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Pragati Engineering College, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Sri Harsha Junior College from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued Intermediate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (MPC).

In addition to their formal education, Prasad has obtained several certifications. Prasad obtained the "Programming Foundations: APIs and Web Services" certification from LinkedIn in May 2023. In April 2022, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance. Prasad also holds the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in July 2015.
