Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ancient Religion from the University of Hawaii, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Before their time at the University of Hawaii, Briana attended Fort Lewis College from 2001 to 2003, where they focused on History; however, they did not receive a degree from this institution.

In addition to their formal education, Briana Dominguez has also obtained various certifications. In 2015, they received the Accident and Health Agent, Life-Only Agent certification from the California Department of Insurance. This was followed by an Account Manager Certification from NAHU in 2016. In 2017, they obtained several certifications from NAHU, including the Ethics: A Guidebook for Insurance Agents and Other Financial Services Professionals, HIPAA Compliance Certification, and Consumer Driven Healthcare Certification. In 2019, Briana earned the Zenefits Certified Professional - Essentials certification from Zenefits. Briana further enhanced their professional credentials by acquiring the Property & Casualty certification from the Arizona Department of Insurance in 2018. Most recently, they have achieved various levels of certification in Customer Success Management from Pulse Academy by Gainsight, including the Customer Success Manager Certified Professional (2021), Customer Success Manager Certified Professional Level II (2022), and Customer Success Leader - Certified Professional Level III (2022). Briana Dominguez continues to actively pursue professional development and expand their skill set.
