Senior Security Engineer at TrackVia

James C. has had a varied and successful career in the IT and security industry. James began their career in 2010 as an Information Assurance Manager at Mace Marketing LLC, where they were responsible for maintaining security on all servers, implementing Intrusion Detection Software and running regular back ups. In 2011, they founded DHG, a shop that provided high quality product and built a loyal customer following. In 2014, they joined the US Army as an Infantry Team Leader, where they supervised and provided security for $100 million of highly sensitive controlled equipment resulting in zero loss in a 1 year period both in the United States and overseas. In 2018, they became a Tutor for Java Programming 1 and Java Programming 2 at Keene State College, as well as a Software Engineer Intern. During their internship, they were responsible for creating and maintaining an Entity Relationship Diagram, moving the project to a git based repository, troubleshooting logical views, JDBC integration, and troubleshooting Linux based testing environment. In the same year, they also participated in Hack UMass VI, helping to build the team that founded pHarmr, an automated hydroponics system. In 2021, they joined Conquest Cyber as a Product Infrastructure Engineer and a Linux Security Engineer, where they monitored and investigated impact of CVEs and implemented mitigations. Currently, they are a Senior Security Engineer at TrackVia, Inc.

James C. attended Keene State College from 2018 to 2021 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Summa Cum Laude honors. James also attended Pennsylvania Gunsmith School from 2010 to 2011 and obtained a Master Gunsmithing Certificate. In July 2011, James C. was awarded the Master Gunsmith certification from the Pennsylvania Gunsmith School.
