Vivek Rajendran

Vivek Rajendran is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a focus on substation operations and power systems. Currently serving as an Electrical Engineer for Tractebel Middle East since June 2019, Vivek specializes in the erection, testing, commissioning, and energization of high-voltage substations within the KAHRAMAA consultant framework. Prior roles include Electrical Substation Engineer at Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) from February 2017 to May 2019, where Vivek was recognized as a KAHRAMAA approved Senior Authorized Person for switching operations up to 400kV. Additionally, experience as a Testing and Commissioning Engineer at alfanar testing & commissioning and as a Senior Testing and Commissioning Engineer at Voltech Engineers Pvt Ltd further bolstered expertise in maintenance and project management related to power systems. Vivek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, obtained in 2010.
