Scott Pyne

Scott Pyne has extensive experience in the tech industry, beginning with their role as Senior Director of Customer Advocacy at Sun Microsystems in 1995. In 2005, they became Head of IT at Peninsula School, Ltd., where they designed and managed the institution's IT infrastructure and applications. From 2010 to 2014, they were CTO and VP of Engineering at ClearStreet Inc., where they designed and implemented an innovative consumer financial service. From 2014 to 2015, they were CTO at Crowd Wisdom Technology, Inc., where they designed and implemented a web-service-based solution to bring the power of collective intelligence to everyday, real-world problems. In 2015, they co-founded CrowdSmart.io, where they were VP of Engineering and Head of Product Development, and was responsible for all aspects of the product line. Finally, in 2020, they co-founded TRAC, a quantitative venture fund, and is currently responsible for product development and production operations.

Scott Pyne attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a field of study in Engineering and Operations Research.
