Kevin Cheng

Kevin Cheng has extensive work experience in SEO and content marketing. Kevin started their career as an Online Marketing Specialist at WowGao Inc. in 2005, where they created and managed SEO strategies and SEM campaigns. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as an Online Marketing Manager at Saksco, where they developed on-site SEO requirements and collaborated with external vendors for web design.

In 2007, Kevin joined AOL Canada as an Online Marketing Specialist, planning and implementing SEO strategies for all AOL Canada properties. Kevin also provided SEO training and guidance during web development projects. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at OANDA as a SEO Strategist, developing and executing global SEO strategic plans and campaigns.

In 2012, Kevin joined AutoTrader.ca as a Senior Manager - SEO and Content, achieving double-digit YoY organic traffic growth for four consecutive years. Kevin was responsible for developing and executing long-term SEO strategic plans.

In 2016, they advanced to the position of Director, SEO & Content at AutoTrader.ca. In this role, they led a team of 20+ journalists and established AutoTrader as a top Canadian automotive content destination. Kevin also managed the SEO program for AutoTrader.ca and AutoHebdo.net, providing guidance and developing SEO strategies aligned with core business objectives. Additionally, they pioneered the AutoTrader Awards program and managed the PR and social media programs.

Throughout their career, Kevin has consistently delivered exceptional results and demonstrated expertise in SEO and content management, earning a strong reputation in the industry.

Kevin Cheng attended Seneca College from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Marketing Administrative Studies Diploma with a focus on marketing. Following this, they enrolled in Ryerson University from 2003 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Business Commerce. During their time at Ryerson, Kevin majored in Marketing and minored in e-Business.
