Mike Kilinski has over 25 years of experience in various roles and industries. Mike currently serves as the Vice President of Product at AutoTrader.ca, where they are responsible for overseeing products related to auto finance, digital retailing, auto valuations and trade-ins, and more. Prior to this, Mike held the position of Vice President of Product, Software at AutoTrader.ca, where they managed dealer software, DevOps, UX, and engineering teams.

Before their time at AutoTrader.ca, Mike worked as the Director of Product Management at autoTRADER.ca and autoHEBDO.net, where they focused on commercial products for the automotive marketplace. Mike also served as the National Director of Online Consulting and Strategy, leading a team of strategists supporting Canadian automotive dealers and dealer groups. Mike played a crucial role in developing a dealer digital advertising technology stack and spearheading Canada's first Digital Retailing automotive platform for dealers.

Mike started their career at GE Security (Aritech) as a Draughtsman in Mechanical Engineering and later worked as a CAD Designer at Martech Enterprises Ltd. Mike co-founded MarineTalk.com and worked as a Co-Founder before transitioning to Scientia Technologies Corp as the VP of Knowledge Engineering and Co-founder. At Scientia, they developed AI systems and complex knowledge data models.

Before their time at Scientia, Mike worked at Link Internet Business Solutions as the Principal/Owner. Their responsibilities included web development, data analysis, and CRM application development.

From 2010 to 2013, Mike worked at Suite101.com in various roles, including Director of Growth, Head of Product Management, and Head of Content Development. Mike was responsible for driving business growth, defining product strategies, developing targeted content, and implementing effective SEO strategies.

Mike Kilinski began their education at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where they pursued a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1995 to 1998. In 2001, they attended the Software Productivity Center Inc. in Vancouver, B.C., specializing in Software Requirements Specification and Software Management. In 2012, Mike briefly studied at the University of Michigan, focusing on Social Network Analysis. Mike then attended Stanford University in 2013, where they studied Machine Learning. In 2019, Mike obtained a KMPII Certification in Kanban Management Professional from Berteig Consulting Inc. Most recently, in 2022 and 2023, they pursued WSET Level 1 certification in addition to the Fine Wine Level 2 program at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
