Sergei Sementsov has a long and varied work experience. Sergei began their career in 2005 as a Part-Time Translator/Interpreter for BSVT (BelSpetsVneshTechnika). In 2007, they were a Translator for an international genetic research project with the National Institutes of Health. From 2008 to 2011, they were an Adviser and Senior Specialist at the International Relations Department of the Council of the Republic, National Assembly of Belarus. In 2012, they held three positions simultaneously: Economic Policy Research Intern with U.S. Senator Michael Bennet's Office, Intern with WorldDenver, and Research Assistant with the University of Denver - Josef Korbel School of International Studies. In 2013, they joined TradeRiver USA as Operations and Administrative Manager and Marketing Consultant. In 2014, they became Communications and Event Manager for the UNDP Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) Development Project.
Sergei Sementsov obtained their Bachelor's degree in Linguistics (English and German Translation) from Minsk State Linguistic University - School of Translation and Interpretation in 2008. Sergei then went on to pursue an MA in International Studies from the University of Denver - Josef Korbel School of International Studies, which they completed in 2013. During this time, they also completed additional coursework from the University of Denver - Daniel's College of Business. In 2010, Sergei obtained a certification in Interregional and Transfrontier Cooperation from the Council of Europe - Venice Commission - Unidem Campus for Legal Training of Civil Servants.
