Kerinza Payne has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2002, Kerinza worked as a Senior Technical Writer at SunGard Workflow Solutions before transitioning to Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC in 2004. There, they served as a PMO/Project Manager until 2007. Kerinza returned to SunGard Financial Systems and worked as a Manager from 2007 to 2011. Kerinza then joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Senior Project Manager for a brief period in 2011 before returning to SunGard Financial Systems as a Lead Senior Consultant and later a Quality Assurance professional. In 2014, Kerinza joined TIAA as a Lead Business Analyst before taking on roles as an IT Delivery Manager and a Product Owner. Following their stint at TIAA, Kerinza worked at Kemper Insurance as a Project Manager IV from 2019 to 2020. Kerinza then became the IT Program Operations Director at Conviva Care Solutions from 2020 to 2022. Kerinza's most recent position is as the Senior Technical Delivery Manager at TradeStation, which they joined in 2022.

Kerinza Payne earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Lee University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Jacksonville State University from 2004 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Kerinza obtained the Certified SAFe 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2022, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2007.
