Michele Rooney

Michele Rooney has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Michele currently holds the position of Head of Program Management and PMO at TradeStation, starting in September 2020. Before that, they worked at Barclays as a Vice President from December 2014 to December 2019. Prior to Barclays, they were a Vice President Project Manager at HSBC for a short period in 2014.

From 2006 to 2012, Rooney held various roles at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, including Vice President Product Manager and Vice President Technology. In these roles, they managed the Merrill Lynch cash equities real-time global position-keeping system, implemented multi-currency position-keeping and trading functionality, and oversaw the global 'End Of Day' database application.

Michele began their career as a Network Engineer at NOBEL Computer Systems, Inc in 2001.

In 2004, Rooney joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Project Manager/Business Analyst. Michele Rooney attended Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Information Systems. In addition, in 2000, they briefly studied at the University of Westminster, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business.
