Alex Scott

Alex Scott has worked in the business development sector for the past two years. In 2021, they joined Coriolis Technologies Ltd as a Business Development Manager, ESG and Trade Data. In this role, they were responsible for generating new sales and client relationships through cold outreach and prospecting clients globally in financial institutions such as banks and non-banking financial institutions. Alex also attended industry events such as GTR UK 2022. In 2023, they moved to TradeSun® Inc. as a Senior Business Development Manager, ESG and Trade Digitization. In this role, they were responsible for propelling more sustainable business with the only automated environmental, social and governance scoring solution for global supply chain.

Alex Scott's education history includes completing a BA in History of Art from UCL in 2019, followed by an MA in Global Political Economy from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2020. Prior to that, Alex Scott completed an Art & Design (Foundation Year for Specialist Degrees) from Ulster University in 2013. Currently, Alex Scott is enrolled in an Intensive Turkish Language program at TÖMER, Ankara Üniversitesi, which began in 2020. Additionally, Alex Scott has obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Climate-Related Disclosures: Starting the Climate Journey from Climate Disclosure Standards Board in 2022, How to Analyse Trade Flows and Introduction to Blockchain for Trade from International Trade Centre in 2022, Climate Change: From Learning to Action, Introduction to Sustainable Finance, and Green Economy and Trade from UN CC:Learn in 2021, and From the Ground Up: Managing and Preserving Our Terrestrial Ecosystems from edX in 2020.
