Wendy Briggs

Wendy Briggs has extensive experience in the healthcare and senior care industry. Wendy began their career in 2000 at Holt Senior Care & Rehab, where they served as the Life Enrichment Director and Dementia Specialist for 13 years. In 2013, Wendy joined Trilogy Health Services, LLC, as the Regional Life Enrichment and Memory Care Support for the North Michigan Division. Wendy held this position for four years before moving to Leisure Living Management in 2017, where they served as the Director of Memory Care. In 2019, Wendy joined Advantage Living Centers as the Corporate Director of Memory Care Programming and later as the Corporate Life Enrichment and Memory Care Director. In 2021, they joined Brightwell Behavioral Health as the Admissions Manager and subsequently served as the Geriatric Behavioral Health Activity Director. Wendy was appointed as the CEO of Brightwell Behavioral Health in 2022 and currently holds the role. Wendy is set to join Traditions Management LLC in 2023 as the Corporate Director of Cognitive Care.

Wendy Briggs holds a Master Certificate in Dementia from Eastern Michigan University, with a focus on Aging Studies. Wendy also obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. In addition, Wendy has received certifications in Fit Minds from Fit Minds | Life Changing Mental Stimulation in 2021, Ageless Grace from Ageless Grace TM in 2020, and Nonviolent Crisis Interventions from Crisis Prevention Institute in July 2021.
