Jon Garcia

Jon Garcia is a Research Officer for Europe at TRAFFIC, an NGO focused on the global trade of wild animals and plants, with an emphasis on biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Prior experience includes roles at Oceana and the European Commission, specifically as an officer and Blue Book Trainee, respectively, contributing to initiatives that support developing countries in environmental challenges. Jon served as a Principal Consultant and Consultant on Climate Change and Environment at OCA GLOBAL and worked as an International Trade Analyst at the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Brussels. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Sustainability from University College Dublin, an MBA in International Management from ICEX-CECO, a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
